John Fitzgerald returns to the ESPN Audio team as Vice President/ESPN Audio Ad Sales. Fitzgerald, who has spent his entire 21-year career with The Walt Disney Company, will oversee all aspects of ESPN Radio national network ad sales, including talk programming, event play-by-play and Audio on Demand, which includes podcasts. He will report to ESPN Audio Senior Vice President Traug Keller.

"Audio is in an exciting place for both ESPN and our advertising partners," said Fitzgerald. "With its ability to deliver efficient national reach and engage listeners close to the point of purchase with compelling programming, ESPN Audio is a very valuable component of the ESPN platform. I learned so much from so many people working on our multicultural initiatives and am thrilled to learn more and work with the ESPN Audio team."

Keller added, "We are extremely fortunate that John is returning to the ESPN Audio team. His passion for audio and his knowledge of the business will allow us to serve our current advertisers extremely well as we continue to grow our offerings and platforms."

Fitzgerald began his career with ABC Radio sales in 1996. He transitioned to ESPN Audio ad sales in 1998 and served as VP of the group from 2005-09. He became VP/Multimedia Multicultural Ad Sales in 2009. In that role, he was responsible for ESPN Deportes television, digital and audio networks, as well as The Undefeated and Hispanic, African-American and Asian-American targeting capabilities across media.
