iHeartMedia/Los Angeles names KYSR-FM (Alt 98.7) VP/Programming Lisa Worden as the Alternative outlet's Program Director. In addition, Worden will continue as Alternative Rock Brand Manager for iHM's National Programming Group. Worden joined iHM in November from crosstown KROQ-FM, where she was Assistant PD and Music Director. In 2003, Worden spent two years as PD for WHFS-FM/Washington, DC, before returning to KROQ-FM in 2005.

"Having Lisa's wealth of programming experience now available to us as a resource, it made logical sense for her to take a much more active role in the day-to-day as the PD of Alt 98.7 and we look forward to tapping into her skills," said Executive VP/West Division Andrew Jeffries. "Her relationships within the industry combined with her knowledge of the format, specifically Los Angeles, will help accelerate the growth, of an already very successful station, into 2018."

Worden was named one of Billboard's Top Women in Music from 2010-2014 and one of Billboard's Top Rock Programmers in 2016. She's also received the Station Music Director of the Year award at the Worldwide Music Summit in 2011 and 2014. Worden received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing from California State University, Long Beach.
