AWMF Announces 2018 Radio Gracie Awards Winners

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) has announced the winners of the 43rd annual Gracie Awards. Honorees include Shirley Strawberry of "The Steve Harvey Show" on Premiere Networks, Jayde Donovan of "Todd and Jayde in the Morning" on Cumulus Media, Nina Hajian of "Shoboy In The Morning" on CBS Radio/New York and Cooper Lawrence of "The Cooper Lawrence Show" on Cox Media Group, among others. The awards gala will take place on Tuesday, May 22 in Beverly Hills, CA, where national radio will be recognized, and the Gracie Awards Luncheon will take place on Tuesday, June 27 at in New York with local and student winners being acknowledged.

Some of the most talented women behind the microphone touched on issues spanning from race relations tor reproduction, immigration to women in the workforce. Outstanding programming from groups including Beasley Media Group, Cox Media Group, iHeartMedia, Hubbard Radio, Entercom, Westwood One, NPR and students including Fordham University and Hofstra University will also be honored.

"And as we enter our 43rd year, we at AWM, through the Gracies, are incredibly proud help usher in a new era by honoring and celebrating outstanding talent and content for, by and about women."
