CHR XHTZ-FM (Z90)/San Diego elevates Kat San Andres to Assistant Program Director. She's been with the station since 2004 and adds APD stripes to her current role as Music Director. San Andres will also take on added day-to-day and strategic duties alongside PD R Dub!

San Andres said, "Fourteen years later, I'm still in love with this career. I'm always so thankful and grateful that I decided to take a risk to follow my dreams because it's lead me to this wonderful adventure. I'm so excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to start this new chapter."

R Dub! added, "It's team members behind the spotlight, like Kat San Andres, who are responsible for the incredible success of Z90 and the other brands in this building. Kat's relentless work ethic and passion for the business helps propel Z90 forward every day and expanding her role here was overdue. Add to that, she is the Z90 listener, has a great set of ears and is a helluva lot cooler than I'll ever be."

In other Z90 news, KGTV (ABC-10)'s Kalyna Astrinos joins Z90 for weekends. This serves as a reunion for Dub! and Astrinos as the two worked together at iHeartMedia Los Angeles back in 2009. Kalyna currently reports for KGTV on the weekdays and will call Z90 her home on the weekends.
