Townsquare Names Godwin Northwest SVP, Promotes Two More

Townsquare Media, Inc. has promoted current Northwest Regional Vice President Kevin Godwin to the roll of Senior Vice President, taking on additional market oversight responsibilities, and in doing so, will relinquish his current Boise Market President duties.

"Kevin has been a driving force in our growth in the Northwest, continually focused on recruiting and developing great local talent, building strong local brands, and executing the Townsquare playbook," said Erik Hellum, Townsquare's COO, Local Media. "Kevin has earned this promotion, and the additional responsibilities he will be taking on."

With Godwin moving out of the Boise Market President role, Townsquare Market President and Chief Revenue Officer Rick Carmean has been appointed to that role for the Company's Boise, ID local media cluster, which includes WOW Country 104.3 (KAWO-FM), Mix 106 (KCIX-FM), 103.5 Kiss FM (KSAS-FM), 107.9 Lite FM (KXLT-FM), KIDO Talk Radio 580AM/107.5FM and Sports Radio 630 The Fan (KFXD-AM).

Carmean joined Townsquare in March 2016 as the Market President and Chief Revenue Officer of the Company's Grand Junction local media operations. He came from Red Zebra Broadcasting, where he was President and CEO for more than five years. In 2017, he led Townsquare Grand Junction to win the Company's "Small Market of the Year" award. Mr. Carmean will start in Boise on February 11, 2019 and report to Townsquare SVP, Kevin Godwin.

"Rick's experience and success with Townsquare's diversified local media platform will allow him to contribute immediately to our "Local First" mission in Boise," said Godwin. "Rick has a collaborative style and brings out the best in others. With a strong core of talent in Boise and his fresh perspective on the operation, Townsquare Boise will continue to develop, grow and perform at a high level under his leadership. I'm excited to work with Rick and help him connect with the many valued relationships and community partners we have here in the Treasure Valley."

"I am thrilled by the opportunity to join the Boise market," said Carmean. "Boise is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and an outstanding place to raise a family. Townsquare's talented group of employees together with the Company's "Local First" mantra, market leading radio stations, established events, and market leading web development and digital programmatic platforms are well suited to address the needs of Boise's growing business community."

Replacing Carmean in Grand Junction is current Director of Sales Natalie Redding, who will assume the Market President and Chief Revenue Officer position, effective immediately.

"I am excited for the opportunity to continue building the Townsquare brand in beautiful Western Colorado by offering solutions to small businesses that support their success and creating engaging experiences on-air, online and on site," said Redding. "Our commitment to our local communities is evident in everything we do, and this will continue to be our priority moving forward."
