Hubbard Radio/West Palm Beach Inks Deal with FAU Athletics

Hubbard Radio/West Palm Beach and Florida Atlantic University Athletics have agreed to a 5-year contract beginning this football season. The deal makes FOX Sports Affiliate WMEN-AM (640 The Hurricane) the new flagship station for the FAU Owls. WMEN will now broadcast all FAU football games, men's basketball games and a one-hour weekly coaches show with head football coach Lane Kiffin and head men's basketball coach Dusty May each week during the respective seasons. Longstanding "Voice of FAU Athletics" Ken LaVicka will continue to serve in the same capacity on the new home of FAU Athletics.

"640-WMEN, the new flagship station for FAU will provide FAU fans with unparalleled access to all football and basketball games with the familiar ‘Voice of FAU Athletics' Ken LaVicka, Coach Lane Kiffin and Coach Dusty May coaches show as well as daily updates on FAU Athletics. The growth of FAU Athletics has significant impact on our local South Florida community."
