DJ Laz Takes on Afternoons at Totally 93.9/Miami

iHeartMedia Miami has named DJ Laz as the new afternoon host for WMIA Totally 93.9 effective Monday January 11. Lazaro Mendez, better known by his stage name DJ Laz is a Cuban-American rapper and DJ from Miami.

A prominent name in Latin bass music, Laz started his musical career at age 15 and has been mixing and entertaining audiences all over South Florida since the mid-80s collaborating with artists including Pitbull, Flo Rida, Will Smith, Luther Campbell, 2 Live Crew and Gloria Estefan.
