RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, July 18, 2019 |
Country Radio Broadcasters will hold the next installment of its recently-launched CRS360 webinar series on Thursday, July 25th at 12pm (CDT), with an episode titled "Country Radio 2019: Mid-Year Ratings and State of The Format Report." Panelists for this episode include KILT/Houston PD Chris Huff and KNCI/Sacramento PD Joey Tack. The conversation will be moderated by MCA Nashville SVP/Promotion Katie Dean.
"Our July CRS360 episode takes a look at the format's mid-year ratings report card, examining national shares in key demos, comparing PPM and diary-measured markets, and highlighting success stories in certain markets, and, at specific stations," said CRS Executive Director RJ Curtis. The July session will include a broader "state of the format" discussion, with a goal of identifying potentially strong music trends, emerging artists, and how Country radio can better compete with other platforms exposing Country music."
He continued, "Just like sessions at CRS each year, the purpose of our monthly CRS360 webinar is to provide valuable, timely information and actionable takeaways which help our constituents better serve their respective communities, and broaden the appeal of Country music."
Upcoming CRS360 topics to be covered during 2019 include revisiting continuous measurement in diary markets and a look at podcasting for radio personalities. Viewing CRS360 is free, but slots are limited so those interested should pre-register.
