Tommy Mattern Appointed Hubbard Radio/St. Louis Ops Mgr.

Veteran radio programmer Tommy Mattern is appointed Operations Manager for Hubbard Radio's five-station cluster in St. Louis. He joined Hubbard in March, 2018, when the company acquired several stations from Emmis. Mattern joined Emmis in 1996 as Assistant Program Director and Music Director of Q-104. He was named PD of WALC (Alice) then WXTM (104.1) two years later. Mattern then switched to 105.7 The Point as its Program Director.
Under Mattern's leadership, KPNT became one of the most highly rated Alternative radio stations in the country. He was nominated for R&R Program Director of the Year in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
