iHeartRadio Launches ''The Women'' Hosted by Rose Reid

"The Women" hosted by Rose Reid, a new iHeartRadio original podcast, launched Tuesday. It features personal and candid interviews with some of today's female changemakers -- including artists, politicians, amateur kickboxers, mothers and lovers -- who didn't back down in the face of resistance. Each episode spotlights courageous women who tell their inspirational and incredible stories.

In episode one, Reid speaks with former CIA agent Valerie Plame who is now running for congress in New Mexico. Plame takes us back to 2003, when the Bush administration blew her cover in retaliation for a critical op-ed written by her husband. Listeners can tune in to hear how her safety was threatened, her career was upended, and she had to decide when and how to use her voice.
