NRG Media Omaha Broadcasting "At Home"

NRG Media Omaha along with so many other stations and companies across the country have had to set-up off-site "at-home" broadcast studios for their on-air talent. While no employees have COVID-19, NRG Media Omaha has set-up several on-air talent with broadcasting facilities from their living room, basements and even attics.

"These are unprecedented times for all of us and I cannot be more proud of my entire staff for handling this so professionally," said General Manager Mark Shecterle. "We've had to move mountains to make this happen, but we've been able to stay live and local, and the listeners have no idea we are not in the studio. As broadcasters it's our job to continue to provide our listeners with great radio by being compassionate, providing important information that affects our listeners and their families ... and we must be an escape for everything that is going on!"

1620 The ZONE on-air talent John Bishop commented, "This stinks for all of us, but we are broadcasters and we must continue to entertain our listeners and provide them with valuable information for their families. We will get through this, and local radio will help everyone get through this ... together."
