Hot Radio Maine Rebuilds Program Helps Over 200 Businesses

A program launched to support small businesses on the radio airwaves across Maine has now hit a new milestone, with over 200 Maine businesses participating. On June 1st, Mainestream Media's WHTP-FM Hot Radio Maine, in conjunction with Lee Auto Malls, launched the "Rebuilds" program. The program is aimed at supporting small business in Maine and created a bank of 2,500 commercials for these businesses with no questions asked and at no cost.

According to Dave Ezzy, Hot Radio Maine's Senior Sales Manager, "You could name almost any town in Maine and we've had a response. Beals to Brunswick to Buxton to Litchfield, Lebanon, Eliot, Turner, Greene, Newport, Waterboro and of course Portland, Lewiston, Bangor... You could really name almost any town in the listening areas (and some outside the listening areas) and there's been a huge response."

The small business Rebuilds program was announced by Program Director Ryan Deelon and has been featured both locally and nationally in news spotlights and radio publications. The 2,500 commercials equate to nearly $100,000 in value and is open to all small businesses in Maine, statewide. The commercials span the state and run on all three of Hot Radio Maine frequencies including 104.7 FM in Portland and southern Maine, 100.3 FM in Lewiston/Auburn, Brunswick and Oxford County and 102.9 FM in the Bangor/Brewer, Old Town & Orono area.

"We're a small business in Maine and can directly relate," said Deelon. "The large response shows how much work there is to do for Maine's small business and the greater economy to get back on their feet. We'll continue to try to do our part in the fight to pull through to the other side. There's still time to submit your business and we'll add more commercials to the bank to make sure all businesses who want to participate are well represented on the station."

While the program has already begun businesses can still submit their information through details found at hotradiomaine.com. There is no fee, charge or any cost whatsoever to participate and receive free advertising. Business owners can either record their own advertisement or work with the Hot Radio Maine team who will help the business to create their commercial at no cost.
