''The Dan Bongino Show'' Airing Repeats Again This Week
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, November 1, 2021 |
According to several affiliates of Westwood One syndicated "Dan Bongino Show," the program will once again air repeats this week, with Bongino reportedly choosing to take this week off in the ongoing dispute with Cumulus Media over its mandatory vaccine mandate. The conservative radio host was not live last week as well, leaving his audience with old news discussions.
Bongino has said in the past that he has no plans to relent and has dared Cumulus to cancel his show -- calling the mandate "unethical" and "immoral." Bongino, who recently completed treatment for Hodgkin Lymphoma and is fully vaccinated, said on-air, "Cumulus is going to have to make a decision with me -- if they want to continue this partnership or they don't." Adding, "You can't have both"... his show and the vaccine mandate.
Cumulus announced in August that it would require employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by September 27, unless they have a legal exception or work remotely.
So far, Cumulus and Westwood One have not offered a comment publicly on his absence or stance.
