HitPredictor Introduces Streaming Music Consumption Report
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, June 28, 2022 |
HitPredictor, a music industry predictive service, introduces MegaHitPredictor to gauge a broader measure of success for songs, including high streaming potential. HitPredictor tests new music with U.S. music consumers to predict the hit potential of new songs on radio. It's a valuable tool for major and independent labels to help them decide which songs by an artist are likely to be the most successful and should be released.
Streaming is taking a much larger share of music consumers' time and interest. The panel for MegaHitPredictor is an expanded group of music consumers who primarily listen to and discover new music on streaming services and other social media platforms. These consumers stream music for 20 minutes to one hour or more per day.
For an artist with multiple songs ready for release, MegaHitPredictor scores provide guidance as to which songs will have the biggest impact and the highest hit potential. One or more MegaHitPredictor case studies will be featured each week in the existing HitPredictor email newsletter. Also available are exclusive MegaHitPredictor reports to clients on any song, with detailed demographic information.
HitPredictor and RCS Worldwide President and CEO Philippe Generali comments on the move, "We are confident that this new, timely and highly important information will prove to make HitPredictor an even better, more inclusive tool to help clients decide which songs to release into the highly competitive music marketplace."
