iHeartMedia elevates Taylor Walet to Area President for its Nebraska-Iowa area encompassing more than 36 stations, effective immediately. As Area President, he'll add oversight of stations across the Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Davenport markets. Walet will also continue to oversee the Sioux City, Omaha and Ogallala markets in Nebraska. He joined iHeartMedia in 2007 as a Market President for iHeartMedia Omaha.

"We have an exceptional team of talent and leaders throughout the states of Nebraska and Iowa," said iHeartMedia Division President Shosh Abromovich. "The synergy of this new Area will help drive additional cohesion and shared success. Taylor's leadership skills, focus on a collaborative and winning culture, along with attention to our local communities, will drive more success across these six markets."

Before joining iHeart, Walet served as a VP for the National Division of Jacor Communications, where he managed over 40 radio stations in seven markets until iHeartMedia acquired the company. In addition, he previously served as a Director of Sales for Radio One and a Market Manager for Citadel Broadcasting, along with several other leadership roles across the industry. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

"I am very excited to partner with Joel McCrae and the rest of our iHeartMedia Iowa leadership team to take advantage of the strengths that Iowa and Nebraska can maximize by working together," said Walet.
