IBA Fall 2022 National Cash Contest Registration Extended
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, August 16, 2022 |
The Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA) is extending the registration period for member stations to participate in the IBA Fall 2022 National Cash Contest to Friday, August 19 to give all IBA member stations time to sign up for the promotion. The contest begins on-air September 19 and stations must be members of the IBA to participate. Extending this registration provides more time for new members to sign up and participate.
This is the fifth National Cash Contest since the birth of the IBA in 2020. Altogether, the five contests have generated nearly $3 million in sponsorship revenue for participating IBA member stations, with an average ROI of 14.7 to 1. Independent broadcasters representing nearly every state and every size market have leveraged the IBA's National Cash Contests to give away a total of over $180,000 to their listeners. The fall 2022 contest will be at least a large as the spring based on current registrations.
"IBA member stations invest only $300 to leverage thousands of prize monies, making this the best ratings and revenue opportunity ever presented", noted IBA President and Executive Director Ron Stone.
IBA National Cash Contests are managed in partnership with Vipology (aka IBA Digital), building and growing the technology, creating contest collateral, and managing winners while providing contest data for member stations.
"In all, the IBA National Cash Contests have generated over 100,000 listening appointments and over 2.2 million visits to station websites," added Vipology CEO Chris Peaslee.
To join the IBA and register for the National Cash Contest, stations may go to iba.media.
