WJPT/Fort Myers Launches SW Florida's Christmas Station

Beasley Media Group's WJPT-FM (Sunny 106.3) in Fort Myers has officially launched Southwest Florida's Christmas Station. The station kicked off the holiday season format with Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You" at 5pm ET on Friday, November 11. Listeners can tune into Southwest Florida's Christmas Station to hear their favorite holiday classics from yesterday and today from now until 11:59pm on December 26.

"Given what our community has endured over the last several weeks, we are looking forward to bringing our listeners some joy and holiday spirit with seasonal favorites," said WJPT-FM Program Director Tom Calococci. "We are proud to continue our annual tradition of sharing holiday cheer on Sunny 106.3."

"When the decorations start to go up, we want to make sure our community has their favorite holiday music to play," added Vice President and Market Manager AJ Lurie. "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas."
