In a reshuffling at AAA WFPK-FM in Louisville, Kyle Meredith is set to become the new Program Director, effective Saturday, February 1. Meredith, who started as a part-time staff member in 2008 and became Music Director in 2010, is taking over from Stacy Owen, who has been at the helm for the past two decades. He'll continue to hold MD duties.

Meredith expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, acknowledging the formidable legacy of his predecessor, Stacy Owen. "It's been a wild ride," said Meredith, "I'm pumped to steer this ship into a new era, one that's been brewing in the back of our minds for years." He extended a massive hat tip to Owen for her transformative leadership and mentioned that she would continue to play a crucial role at the station.

Meredith will continue hosting the evening show from 6-10pm ET and running his podcast, 'Kyle Meredith With...', albeit with slightly fewer episodes.

Simultaneously, Owen is transitioning to a new role as WFPK's Promotions Director after celebrating 25 years with the station. Owen looks forward to focusing on strengthening partnerships and creating exciting promotions to enhance WFPK's connection to the music community. "I want to keep finding new ways to make an impact," Owen stated, emphasizing her commitment to building community and supporting local music talent.
