iHeartMedia Salt Lake City's Hooker & DB Morning Show on KAAZ-FM (Rock 106.7) is once again teaming up with The Advocates Injury Attorneys and the Bicycle Collective for its annual Bikes or Bust charity event. The initiative collects used and old bicycles to benefit Bicycle Collective, a local nonprofit that refurbishes bikes and provides educational cycling programs for children and low-income individuals.

This year's event will take place on Friday, May 23, from 6am-12pm during a live broadcast from the Hooker & DB show at The Advocates Injury Attorneys offices, located at 737 East Winchester Street in Murray.

"Bikes or Bust is one of the most fulfilling charity events that I have been a part of in 25+ years of being in radio. It is kids helping kids and communities helping communities. It is so rewarding to help kids get on bikes for the summer and get them in the hands of people who need them most," said Hooker, air personality for Rock 106.7.

The Bicycle Collective's mission is to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation and recreation, while supporting a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. Donated bicycles will be refurbished and distributed to those in need, especially youth and families who may not otherwise have access to them.

Listeners are encouraged to drop off their bicycles at the event and help make a difference in their community just in time for summer.
