Central Arkansas Radio Buys Four in Hot Springs

Central Arkansas Radio Group has agreed to acquire four outlets serving Hot Springs, AR, from Noalmark Broadcasting Corporation. Terms were not disclosed. Included in the deal are 95kW AC KLAZ-FM (105.9), 11.5kW Rock KYRC-FM (93.5), 6kW Rock KHRK-FM (101.5) and News/Talk KBHS-AM (1420). The buyer, Central Arkansas Radio Group, is headed by Greg Shinn, an Arkansas businessman who has no other broadcast interests.
The seller, Noalmark Broadcasting Corp., is headed by William C. Nolan III and has additional broadcast interests in El Dorado AR, Hobbs, NM and Roswell NM.
Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker representing the buyer.
