FCC Filings Reveal 19 Radio Outlets to Be Divested

CBS Corp. and Entercom filed with the FCC on October 10 amendments to their pending applications seeking the FCC's approval of the merger between the two, which became publicly available on October 11. The FCC Application Amendments contain, among other things, a proposal to divest nineteen radio stations to comply with the FCC's local radio ownership rule and/or to obtain clearance for the Merger from DOJ.
The stations identified in the FCC Application Amendments include WBZ-AM, WZLX-FM, WBZ-FM, WKAF-FM and WRKO-AM/Boston; KSWD-FM/Los Angeles; KHTK-AM KNCI-FM, KYMX-FM and KZZO-FM/Sacramento; KSOQ-FM/San Diego; KMVQ-FM, KBLX-FM, KOIT-FM, KUFX-FM/San Francisco; KFNQ-AM, KJAQ-FM and KZOK-FM/Seattle-Tacoma; and WGGI-FM/Wilkes Barre-Scranton.
