Entravision Q3 Net Revs Up 41% Over Spectrum Fees

Entravision Communications reported third quarter net revenues rose 412% to $334.5 million from $65.2 million in 2016, mainly due to revenue from spectrum usage rights. Revenue from advertising increased to $70.6 million from $65.3 million, while radio revenue fell 12% to 16.9 million. Of the overall increase, $11.4 million was attributable to its digital media segment. Operating expenses grew to $43 million from $40.2 million. The company posted a net income of $157.3 million as compared to $5.4 million in the year-ago period.
