RADIO ONLINE | Monday, January 29, 2018 |
New York Market Radio Association (NYMRAD) has released its fourth quarter 2017 State of the New York Market Report. The analysis of the New York marketplace is designed to help advertisers understand Radio's impact on consumers and its role in the local advertising landscape. The report assesses the New York area economy, including business drivers and provides up-to-date consumer research on music consumption, radio usage and more.
In addition to the New York market, this quarter's report places a special focus on the financial industry, which includes investment, accounting, credit card and banking services.
"Companies advertising in the New York area appreciate the value of having a presence here and are higher spenders in this radio market when compared to the national average. Banking, financial, and professional services industries have the most to gain as New York Radio listeners are big consumers in these industries," said NYMRAD's Executive Director Debbie Beagan.
The NYMRAD State of the Market Report provides specific business trends as well as local information from a variety of sources including Nielsen Audio, AdAge, Forbes, Labor Statistics for the New York City Region, Miller Kaplan, Media Monitors and more.
