RADIO ONLINE | Friday, April 27, 2018 |
Brigham Young University has agreed to acquire 89kW Alternative KUMT-FM (107.9)/Salt Lake City (licensed to Randolph, UT) from Community Wireless of Park City Inc. BYU had previously planned to shut down its longtime Classical outlet KBYU-FM (Classical 89), but that programming will now be moved to KUMT on 107.9 MHz. Also included in the transaction are four on-channel FM boosters located in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Bountiful and Provo, UT.
Greg Merrill of Media Services Group's Rocky Mountains office represented the parties in this transaction.
