WSTR (Star 94.1)/Atlanta Names Marino to Afternoons

Hot AC WSTR-FM (Star 94.1) Atlanta brings in Mike Marino from CHR WHTI-FM/Richmond, VA, for afternoons beginning in September. He replaces Sari Rose, who remains with the station. Marino most recently was WHTI's Program Director and afternoon host. His previous stints include WHZT-FM/Greenville, WBHT-FM/Wilkes Barre, WIHT-FM/Washington DC, WIOQ-FM/Philadelphia and WHTZ-FM/New York.

OM Scott Lindy said, "I've been a big fan of Marino for years now and it's our good fortune to give Star 94's audience the chance to witness his unique style. His fun on-air presence and personality combined with what he brings to Star 94's programming, promotions and creative efforts make him a natural for this position."

Marino added, "I am honored to be a part of the Star 94 family. This is an unbelievable and amazing opportunity to create some great radio in Atlanta with Scott Lindy, Rick Mack and the rest of the Star 94 team. I can't wait to get started and continue the success!"
