After four decades, veteran air personality Nick Van Cleve has announced he's leaving radio. Van Cleve, whose on-air career includes four popular morning shows on Tampa Bay stations, is readying for his final morning show on Classic Hits WXGL-FM (107.3 The Eagle) at the end of March, concluding a fifteen year run. Van Cleve's, other morning slots in Tampa included 95YNF, WHPT-FM (102.5 The Point) and WFUS-FM (Thunder 103.5). His previous stints have taken him to stations in Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles.
"Morning rock radio was an attitude, lifestyle and fun," commented Van Cleve. "Radio was the vehicle to bring it all together. Rock On."
