Entercom Memphis to Launch ''Giannotto & Jeffrey''

WMFS-AM & FM (92.9 FM ESPN) Memphis will launch "Giannotto & Jeffrey" on Monday, May 20 at 2pm. The new show will feature Mark Giannotto, lead columnist for the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Before joining the newspaper in January, 2017, Giannotto worked at the Washington Post for more than seven years as a sports reporter covering Virginia, Virginia Tech, high school sports and the Washington Capitals. He also contributed to the Washington Post magazine.
92.9's Jeffrey Wright will continue as an Executive Producer with Geoff Calkins in addition to his promotion as co-host with Giannotto. Wright has spent 3 years as 92.9's lead fill-in host prior to his promotion to co-host with Giannotto covering the SEC, the Grizzlies, NFL and more. Wright is a native Memphian and spent four years in Oxford, MS, covering Ole Miss for the Yahoo/Rivals network and hosting the Oxford Exxon Podcast.
Giannotto & Jeffrey's Executive Producer will remain Connor Dunning. In addition to producing the show, Dunning is Social Media/Web/Marketing Lead for Entercom/Memphis. Dunning is a University of Memphis graduate and spent the past year producing the "Eric Hasseltine Show."
