Marks to Run Editorial Content for Townsquare Media

Townsquare Media has hired veteran editor and journalist Craig Marks as Editorial Director. In this role, Mr. Marks will oversee editorial content across web, social and video for eight of Townsquare's music and entertainment brands including TasteofCountry, Loudwire, PopCrush, ScreenCrush, UltimateClassicRock, TheBoot, Diffuser, and TheBoombox. He joins alongside Vanessa Satten, longtime Editor in Chief of Townsquare's hip-hop brand XXL.

Previously Marks served as the executive editor at Billboard, and as editor-in-chief of Blender magazine, Spin and Popdust. He is the co-author of the best-selling oral history "I Want My MTV: The Uncensored Story of the Music Video Revolution," and has written for New York, GQ, the New York Times and Details.
