WWFW/Fort Wayne Flips to 24/7 Christmas Music
RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, November 8, 2017 |
Adams Radio flips WWFW-FM (103.9 Sunny FM) Fort Wayne to all Holiday music. For the fourth consecutive year, the AC outlet has become "The Christmas Station" in Fort Wayne. Sunny FM polled listeners on their station Facebook page last week, asking them when they wanted to hear all Christmas music on the radio. "We were surprised at the number of people who wanted to hear it right now," said Director of Programming Rob Mackenzie.
"There has been plenty of negative news this year... from the shootings, to the hurricanes, to politics. It seems this year, more than in years past, people are ready for the holidays, and the feel-good energy, the warm memories of years gone by. We are happy to once again provide the Christmas soundtrack to Fort Wayne," added Mackenzie.
As The Christmas Station, 103.9 Sunny FM is proud to partner on many great events throughout the community, such as "Christmas on Broadway," "Festival of Trees," "Fantasy of Lights," "Christmas on the Farm," Jim Brickman's "A Joyful Christmas" concert and more.
