Houston Hispanic Chamber Honors CBSR's Frazier

In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Awards on November 18. The largest Hispanic gala in the region, the Chamber's Annual Awards honors the accomplishments of the Houston business community. This year, the Chamber will bestow the Chairman/President & CEO Award to Sarah Frazier (pictured), Senior Vice President and Market Manager for CBS Radio's work in the Houston community in 2017.
Notable items were donating of over $3 million in airtime to local charities, raising a million dollars in cash donations across all six stations, hosting two DACA/immigration forums for the Hispanic community and lobbying on behalf of small business owners in Washington to keep the deductibility of advertising as a business expense in the new tax plan. Plus, broadcasting four days of live and local non-stop coverage of Hurricane Harvey in both English and Spanish.
