Entercom/Dallas Names Fox VP/Music Programming

Jim Fox

Entercom names Jim Fox as Vice President of Music Programming for its cluster in Dallas-Fort Worth, effective December 21. He joined the company's Sacramento group in 2003 and will continue in his current role as VP/Programming in Sacramento until the end of the year. In addition, Fox will serve as Program Director for Adult Hits KJKK-FM (JACK FM) and KVIL-FM (ALT 103.7), which launched its Alternative format under his direction on November 17.

"Jim has guided the Alternative format for Radio 94.7 and 98 Rock to exceptional ratings performance in Sacramento," said Entercom Dallas-Fort Worth Regional President and Market Manager Brian Purdy. "We can count on him for outstanding leadership, strategy, ideas, operation, coaching and partnership."

Sacramento VP/Market Manager Lance Richard announced to staff, "Jim has been an incredible leader here in Sacramento for over 14 years and has been a big part of our success. Jim's impact hasn't just been limited to just ratings success.
