The Conclave Announces New Dates for 2018 SLC
RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, January 3, 2018 |
The Conclave announces new dates for its 2018 Conclave Summer Learning Conference. The event, #CONCLAVE43, will be held on Wednesday, July 18 through Friday, July 20 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis-Park Place. A later date for #CONCLAVE43 was announced last fall, but Conclave organizers moved the event up one week. The event will celebrate 43 years of educating radio broadcasters next summer with educational sessions from radio professionals and networking opportunities.
#CONCLAVE43 is specifically designed to help broadcasters grow their careers and stations by providing access to executives from companies across the radio stratosphere in a relaxed and intimate environment. #CONCLAVE43 will again feature its "Speed Mentoring Breakfast," which offers one-on-one networking opportunities and insights and tips from industry leaders and influencers.
The Conclave Chair Lori Lewis said, "We're excited to announce this new date for #CONCLAVE43, which will ensure that we have the best and most diverse minds in the business in the mix this year to optimize the unmatched educational and networking opportunities that attendees have come to expect from The Conclave. The Conclave Board and I anticipate that #CONCLAVE43 will eclipse the phenomenal growth and success of last summer's event, and encourage radio professionals at every level of their careers to register now for the discounted early-bird rate."
Attendance at The Conclave has grown a whopping 455% since 2014, with attendance for Conclave 2017 increasing 140% over the 2016 event. Speakers and attendees from companies included iHeartMedia, Cumulus Media, Entercom Communications, CBS Radio, Hubbard Radio, Leighton Broadcasting, Midwest Communications, Beasley Media Group, Alpha Media and Townsquare Media.
