Garcia Named Univision/New York Dir./Radio Sales

Univision Communications appoints Eric Garcia as Director of Radio Sales for the company's group in New York, effective immediately. In this role, he will oversee radio sales for WXNY-FM (La X 96.3), WQBU-FM (Que Buena 92.7) and WADO-AM (Univision Deportes Radio). Prior to joining Univision, Garcia served as VP/General Manager and Radio Revenue Chief for crosstown SBS. He'll be headquartered in New York and report to Senior VP/Local Media Sales Antonio Roman.

Garcia also previously served as vice president of sales and national sales manager of SBS. During this time, he led national sales efforts for SBS' New York properties, WSKQ & WPAT and introduced digital sales strategy. Before joining SBS, Garcia also held sales positions at WPAT-FM, Interep Radio Sales and Haddon House Foods. He began his career in 2002 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Management from Long Island University.
