Alpha Media Ups Mike Hartel to EVP Mid-Atlantic Region

Alpha Media appoints 25-year broadcast vet Mike Hartel as Executive VP of its Mid-Atlantic Region, effective immediately. He will oversee the Columbia SC, Fredericksburg VA, Hagerstown-Chambersburg PA, Bluefield WV, Dayton OH and Canton OH markets. He'll also work on special company revenue-oriented projects. Hartel most recently served as Regional VP of the company's Mid-Atlantic Division in addition to serving as the Market Manager in Columbia, SC. Before that, he spent 12 years as a VP/General Manager with the Curtis Media Group/Raleigh.
