NABEF Reveals 2018 Technology Apprenticeship Participants

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) has announced the individuals selected to participate in the 2018 Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP). TAP exposes technology-focused graduates and young professionals to the broadcast industry through a six-month, hands-on training program that includes a paid two-month internship. TAP participants learn about the latest trends in broadcasting and network with industry professionals at the annual NAB Show in Las Vegas.
"The need for innovative, technology-proficient talent in our industry is growing," said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. "The TAP program addresses this need by attracting and preparing the next generation of engineers and technology professionals for essential roles at radio and television stations."
This year's participants and their apprenticeship placements include:

- Haemi Jo, WTVF-TV, The E.W. Scripps Company, Nashville
- Allen Johnson, WDKN-AM, R & F Communications Inc., Dickson, TN
- Ivan Morales, KCBS-FM, Entercom Communications, Los Angeles
- Joshua Mondy, KJIW-FM, Mondy-Burke Broadcasting Network, Helena, AR
- Zipporah Mondy, KJIW-FM, Mondy-Burke Broadcasting Network, Helena, AR
- Jason Tober, WFTS-TV, The E.W. Scripps Company, Tampa
- Rachel Torres, WMAG-FM, iHeartMedia, Greensboro
