Miguel ''Mijo'' Irizarry Named Power 96 Miami PD/Middays

Entercom appoints Miguel "Mijo" Irizarry to Program Director of Rhythmic CHR WPOW-FM (Power 96) Miami, effective immediately. He'll also host the station's midday slot, weekdays from 10am-2pm. Irizarry previously hosted evening drive. He joined Power 96 in August, 2017 and has also held on-air roles for sister WTDY-FM (Today's Hits 96.5 TDY), then know as "Wired 96.5" in Philadelphia and WHTP-FM (Hot 104.7) in Portland, ME, where he also served as the station's Music Director.
"Mijo's passion for radio and for Power 96 is unmatched," said Entercom South Florida Senior VP/Market Manager Keriann Worley. "We are pleased to elevate him to the role of Program Director and look forward to the station's continued growth under his leadership."
