Beasley elevates Mark Razz to Program Director of WXTU-FM Philadelphia, effective immediately. The radio veteran, who has been on the air at the Philadelphia Country outlet for over a decade, has been serving as the Assistant Program Director/Music Director and afternoon host of the "Razz on The Radio" show weekdays from 3-7pm. In his new role, he will shift his on-air duties from afternoons to middays and will oversee WXTU-FM programming.
"Nobody deserves this opportunity more than Razz," said Beasley Media Group Philadelphia Vice President and Market Manager Joe Bell. "He has been an integral part of 92.5 XTU's success for years and has demonstrated the leadership, commitment and creativity that you look for in a PD. Plus, he's an amazing talent, is loved by listeners and respected within the industry. 92.5 XTU will be in good hands with Razz at the helm."
"I would like to thank the Beasley family for this great opportunity," added Razz. "925XTU is a very special radio station. I am excited to take on this responsibility as the station prepares to celebrate its 35th anniversary and am looking forward to leading it into the future."
