Townsquare Media has hired former CBS Radio Los Angeles General Sales Manager Ryan Lieberman to serve as Market President and Chief Revenue Officer for Townsquare's Tri-Cities, WA cluster. Lieberman will oversee the local media team in Tri-Cities, which includes Country 102.7 (KORD-FM), Hot AC 98.3 The Key (KEYW-FM), 97 Rock (KXRX-FM), CHR Hot 97.5 (KOLW-FM) and News-Talk 870 (KFLD-AM). A former sales management executive for CBS and Emmis in LA and Chicago, he will report to Townsquare Regional Vice President Kevin Godwin.

"Ryan brings nearly 20 years of media leadership and performance to Townsquare; and, fortunately for us, the Tri-Cities opportunity is a perfect fit," said Godwin. "Ryan grew up in Washington and has family in and around Tri-Cities. Ryan brings highly competitive experiences, a true sales focus and strong local community awareness and relationships to our Tri-Cities operation. His dynamic background and skillset adds strong leadership to a key market for Townsquare."

"After leaving the Northwest nearly twenty years ago, my family and I are very excited to be coming back," said Lieberman. "I've never been more optimistic for the medium. Townsquare is an exciting company that is at the forefront of embracing multi-platform opportunity. Tri-Cities continues to be a thriving market and I can't wait to join the team."

Townsquare COO - Local Media, Erik Hellum added, "Ryan's hiring is a great example of Townsquare's ‘Local First' focus. Rather than splitting the Market President job with our Yakima market, as we have in the past, Ryan will be 100% focused on the Tri-Cities market, our audience and clients. The fact that Ryan is coming home, and is truly committed to this great community, is even better."
