WJFK, Washington Capitals Extend Multi-Platform Deal

Entercom and the Washington Capitals have extended their multi-platform broadcast partnership. As part of the extension, WJFK-FM (106.7 The Fan) Washington, DC, will remain as the flagship home of the Washington Capitals carrying all Capitals games plus pre- and post-game shows. In addition, all games will continue to be streamed on RADIO.COM. The new extension will run through the 2021 season.

"In addition to all games, the station will provide fans with full coverage of their favorite team through premiere programming on air, online and on demand. Capitals fans nationwide now have more resources than ever to stay up-to-date with the team and we look forward to continue serving as their hub for everything Capitals."

106.7 The Fan will continue to carry every game live with the Capitals' veteran broadcast team of John Walton and Ken Sabourin. Game broadcasts will continue to include 15 minutes of pre-game coverage prior to puck drop and 45 minutes of programming after the game concludes. The post-game show will include player interviews and a live broadcast of Capitals head coach Todd Reirden's post-game press conference. The Capitals pre- and post-game shows will continue to be hosted by Ben Raby.
