Beasley Media Group CEO Caroline Beasley was among the featured panelists during the "Tuning into Radio/Radio Super Session" at Music Biz 2019, powered by the Music Business Association. The event took place on Monday, May 6t at the JW Marriott in Nashville, TN. The session was moderated by Russ Crupnick, Managing Partner at MusicWatch. Other featured panelists included Warner Brothers Nashville Senior VP/Radio & Streaming Kristen Williams and Cox Media Group/Houston Director of Operations Johnny Chiang.
During the session, Beasley highlighted how radio's mission is to provide great content on multiple platforms to listeners wherever and whenever they want it as well as shared her thoughts on the unique opportunity streaming provides within the radio ecosystem.
In addition, the panelists discussed how radio's greatest strength is being "live and local" in the communities it serves and the unique role it plays in telling and sharing stories with its listeners.
