Hubbard Radio Named One of 2019 St. Louis Top Workplaces

The St. Louis Post Dispatch has released the list of local businesses that have been determined to be among the best in the area and Hubbard Radio was one of the top workplaces. Categories ranged from small to large-sized and were identified via a short web-based workplace survey conducted by Energage, a culture technology and workplace improvement research company.

According to Energage Founder/CEO Doug Claffey, Top Workplaces identifies companies that excel in the eyes of their employees. "The survey can help assess the health of companies. It can validate achievements, reveal problem areas and set a foundation for new goals. It also gives employers well-deserved credit for creating a special workplace culture," he stated.

"This Top Workplace designation is especially important to us," said VP/Market Manager John Kijowski. "In February of last year, we acquired KSHE and 105.7 The Point from Emmis Communications. We had twice the number of employees that we had to fit into the same square footage. We really worked hard to provide all of our employees with a great workspace. We focused on instilling confidence in the leadership and being attentive to the process of blending workplace cultures," stated Kijowski.

The company says its workspace is "lively and fun," complete with autographed guitars, posters and memorabilia on display from some of the greatest rock, country, pop and sports stars in history. The employees also enjoy work-perks including access to the on-site fitness center, pick-up and delivery dry-cleaning service, premium coffee and micro-mart vending, and opportunities to attend some of the areas hottest entertainment events.

Hubbard's benefits package includes health, dental and vision for full-time employees and all employees can participate in the Hubbard Radio's 401K savings plan with company-matching opportunities.

In St. Louis, Hubbard Radio operates KPNT (105.7 The Point), KSHE, WARH (106.5 The Arch), WIL (New Country 92.3), WXOS (101ESPN) and 2060 Digital St. Louis, a digital media services brand.
