RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, July 17, 2019 |
Sad to report that Sherry Dollar, Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Charleston and 27-year radio veteran, died Wednesday morning after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family, who has asked for nothing more than prayers and to honor Sherry's last wish to "Be Kind." Cumulus Media said that "Dollar's bright spirit touched many people throughout her long radio career. Details about memorial services honoring her amazing life are forthcoming."
"Sherry was a terrific Market Manager and a terrific human being. She will be sorely and deeply missed by all of us," said Cumulus Media President and CEO Mary Berner.
"Sherry's passion for this business was only surpassed by her passion for life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and I will forever be grateful to have worked with her," added EVP/Operations Bob Walker.
