Univision/New York Re-launches WQBU as ''Que Buena 92.7''

Univision/New York re-launches Regional Mexican WQBU-FM, flipping it to Spanish AC "Que Buena 92.7 FM." The station offesr New Yorkers a new destination for Latin music from the the '80s, '90s and today. It features artists such as Shakira, Chayanne, Ricky Martin, Luis Miguel and Juan Luis Guerra, among others. Listeners can also tune into the new Que Buena 92.7 FM using the Uforia app.
"We are excited to launch a brand-new format that reflects the distinct tastes of the Latino community in the Tri-State area. By reformatting our audio portfolio to include the only Spanish AC radio station in the region, we're able to give our audience more of the music they love whether they're listening at home, at work or during their commute," said Univision New York President/GM Roberto Yanez.
As part of the reformatting, Que Buena 92.7 now features an updated programming slate with Mildre Aquino "La Makina" (6-10am), followed by the national ensemble show "El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo" (10am-2pm), Jose Luis Arcos (2-7pm), followed by Cesar Lozano's evening mix (7-8pm) and "El Free-Guey" with La Bronca (8-midnight).
