Steve Davis to Exit Entercom/Washington DC as VP/P

Veteran radio programmer Steve Davis will exit as VP/Programming at Entercom in Washington, DC, as well as PD of Classic Hits WIAD (94.7 The Drive) and Rhythmic CHR WPGC-FM. He'll exit on October 4 after nine years with the cluster. He was upped to VP/P in 2014. Prior to joining then CBS Radio, Davis was a consultant with Zapoleon Media Strategies where he worked with stations both domestically and internationally. Between 2005-2008, he was VP/Programming for NextMedia Group.
Davis plans to relocate to Richmond, VA to be with his family, where he also owns a comic book store. "It's been a great nine year run here. I've enjoyed a lot of success and have worked with some of the best in the business and will miss everyone here," said Davis.
Davis has also held senior programming management positions with Four Seasons Communications and Liberty Broadcasting. He began his career as an air talent and held positions at then CBS Radio's WBBM-FM/Chicago, WZGO-FM/Philadelphia and WZGC-FM/Atlanta.
