Cumulus has appointed Steven Lewis as Program Director and PM Drive host for Indianapolis Active Rock WNDX-FM/93.9X. Lewis will make his on-air debut on Monday, October 7th, and can be heard weekdays from 3pm-7pm. Lewis joins Cumulus Indianapolis from iHeartMedia-Cincinnati, where he was the Assistant Director of Custom/National Programming since December 2017, and previously held Program Director positions in Dayton, OH, and Saginaw, MI. This marks a return to Cumulus for Lewis, who held an on-air position in the Cincinnati cluster from 2016-2017.

"93.9X shot out of a cannon to incredible audience response when we launched back in May, thanks to Doug Hamand, Troy Hanson, Derek Madden and Jim Kurdziel," said Christopher "Boomer" Layfield, OM, WNDX-FM. "We're now adding just the right mad rock programming genius to make us dangerous... in a good way. Steven is ideally suited to lead this team. I share his vision and look forward to working with him to firmly establish the 93.9X brand in Indy."

"I am excited for the opportunity to build on the momentum that started in May when 93.9X became Indy's Rock Station!" said Lewis. "Doug Hamand and Troy Hanson are among the best programming minds in the industry and I look forward to joining the awesome team that Chuck Fredrick and Boomer are leading to great things, in Indianapolis!"
