Entercom appoints Chris Roth as Program Director of Classic Hits WIAD-FM (94.7 The Drive)/Washington DC, effective immediately. He'll work closely with Classic Hits Format Captain and sister KRTH (K-EARTH 101)/Los Angeles PD Chris Ebbott. Roth, a 20-year veteran programmer, spent most of his career in the DC metro area. Prior to joining Entercom, Roth held multiple programming and on-air roles for iHeartMedia, Hubbard Broadcasting, Salem Media and Red Zebra Broadcasting in DC, Curtis Media Group in Raleigh NC and Centennial Broadcasting in Winchester VA.

"Chris Roth brings the vernacular and market knowledge to fine tune 94.7 The Drive to D.C.'s particular tastes. He's uniquely suited for this role and I am excited to see him help our station excel."
