Entercom has announced that Country artist and 2019 CMA Awards nominee Luke Combs will host its "CMA Red Carpet Countdown" in celebration of the 53rd Annual CMA Awards. The multi-platform programming commences Monday, November 11 and will include on-air and digital content across all of the company's Country outlets, their websites and via each station's livestream on RADIO.COM.

The one-hour "CMA Red Carpet Countdown" special will immediately precede the televised CMA Awards beginning at 7pm ET on Wednesday, November 13 and will feature Luke Combs introducing additional content and a curated playlist from Nashville.

"Our coverage in Nashville and our annual 'CMA Red Carpet Countdown' will give our listeners nationwide a front row ticket to country music's biggest night," said Entercom Chief Programming Officer Pat Paxton. "Who better to provide this insider access than one of the industry's leading stars? We're excited to be partnering with Luke Combs as his unfiltered personality delivers an engaging atmosphere. Luke's camaraderie with artists is hilarious and we are looking forward to amplifying that magic across our unrivaled footprint in country music."

"It's so much more than 'What You See Is What You Get,' at the CMAs, and I'm thrilled to share the behind-the-scenes action by partnering with my friends at Entercom," said Combs. "We're going to have a lot of fun backstage with all the artists."

Carrie Underwood will host this year's CMA Awards with special guest hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton in celebration of legendary women in country music. The awards will air live on November 13 at 8pm ET.
