Katz Names Rick Ramos SVP/Multicultural Partnerships

Katz Media Group has promoted Rick Ramos to Senior Vice President of Multicultural Partnerships, effective immediately. Ramos will report to Tucker Flood, President of Eastman Radio at Katz Radio Group. In his new role, Ramos will oversee the creation of dynamic multicultural audio marketing campaigns with national scale and local execution across all of Katz audio partners, which includes Univision, Radio One and Entravision. Ramos will also continue to lead advocacy efforts for multicultural advertising and further develop relationships with marketers and agencies.
In addition, he will manage the development of a multicultural marketing mentoring program, with the mission to showcase the radio industry and motivate young multicultural professionals to consider careers in marketing and advertising.

Ramos brings 25 years of media sales experience to his new role. As a multicultural specialist, he has worked with many of the top broadcast radio companies that provide information, entertainment, and content for the Hispanic audience, such as Univision Radio, Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (HBC), Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), and Tichenor Broadcasting. His extensive career includes New York Sales Manager of Katz Hispanic Media; Vice President Regional Sales Manager of HBC National Sales; Vice President of Univision National Sales; and most recently SVP, Director of Sales for Business Development at Eastman Radio.
Ramos is the winner of the prestigious Medallas de Cortez Award for Marketer of the Year, honoring his excellence in all areas of Hispanic Radio. He is also a member of the Hispanic Audio Alliances and RAB Multicultural Committee.
