Motor Racing Network Kicks Off 50th Anniversary Season

Motor Racing Network will "throw the Green Flag" on its 50th season of NASCAR coverage with almost 30 hours of programming originating from the "World Center of Racing," Daytona International Speedway from February 8-16. Commonly known as Daytona Speedweeks, its announcers and production crew will produce six race broadcasts, three editions of its signature program NASCAR LIVE, five separate NASCAR Cup Series practices and qualifying for the "Great American Race."
MRN's Daytona programming culminates with the 62nd running of the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 16th at 1:30pm Eastern and will be carried live on over 400 radio station partners across the country.
Content plans also include "NASCAR LIVE: 50 Years of MRN" special which aired Monday, February 10 at 7pm and is available on-demand at MRN.com. The show celebrates our more than fifty (50) years of live race coverage and digs deep into the archive to hear from legendary announcers like Ken Squier and Barney Hall, and highlights fifteen (15) stations that have been with the network since day one:
