The National Radio Talent System has announced that all of the Radio Talent Institutes scheduled for this summer have been postponed from 2020 to 2021. National Radio Talent System President Dan Vallie stated, "We thank all of our forward thinking partners for their vision and partnership in this noble effort, now needed more than ever, of discovering and preparing young talent to help insure we thrive into the future in our dynamic and changing industry."

"We all agree that it is with regret, but also great concern for the health of all involved that we are postponing all the Institutes scheduled for this summer. We have already begun the planning for 2021, and with continued support from Benztown, vcreative, Mr. Master and xperi."

The Institutes include:

  • Beasley Radio Talent Institute at Emerson College, Boston, MA

  • Confer Radio Talent Institute at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania

  • GAB Radio Talent Institute at University of Georgia, Athens, GA

  • Hubbard Radio Talent Institute at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ

  • KBA WKU Radio Talent Institute at Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY

  • Kellar Radio Talent Institute at Appalachian State University, Boone, NC

  • MBA Radio Talent Institute at Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, MO

  • TAB Radio Talent Institute at University of Tennessee Knoxville

The National Radio Talent System will be contacting each broadcast professional who was confirmed to lead a session in one of this summer's Radio Talent Institutes and have already contacted the over 100 students who have applied for this summer and are now automatically accepted into the 2021 Radio Talent Institutes.
